I am getting ready to order an NX8 4x32 F2 from sports optics, or possibly a used one if one comes up for sale soon. I just sold my other scope, and can't stand the thought of a rifle sitting in the safe not ready to shoot!

Question is I have a CA Traverse with the rail it came with (0 moa), and which height ring should I get? Planning on going with Nightforce ultralight 4 screw rings. I would like my bell about 1/8" off the barrel, or just high enough for the scope covers that come with the scope to fit.

I would be open to different rings if their are suggestions for something with a side bubble intragrated? I was thinking the ziess at first, but then I read the thread.

I would go with 1.0"s.

The Nightforce rings are nice and I have my fair share. You might consider the Hawkins Precision Ultra Light rings and the offset level top ring. The rings and offset level top ring are available in the LRO store. I think the Hawkins rings are well made, a touch longer clamping the scope with more area and bigger screws clamping the top ring to the base rings all while being very light. I have them on my 30-338 Lapua Imp 40 and one other rifle and love them.

Thanks for the responses, I did not know Hawkins sold the offset bubble separately.

We are awaiting a very large order from Hawkin's to replenish our store inventory and also add a few more products. Not sure when they will arrive, but soon I think.
Nice. I pulled the Talleys off of my last rifle and am in need of a rail and rings.

Can I assume this order will have the
.885 rings in it? It's going to be really hard for me to wait, but I will do my best.

I've got a set of low's on order from Hawkins and another set from NF, also low's. I've seen the NX8 on low's multiple times with carbon barrels. Seems to fit very well. Tenabrex caps fit as well.

We made a very large order and yes it included a lot of 30mm rings. The order is being filled as they produce more product, so we won't know what is in it until each shipment arrives. If you need them quickly I would grab them when you find them. I would not ask you to wait.

Needing some Hawkins lows for my new rifle, I checked the LRO store but, they were out of 30mm lows. Found them at Brownells. But, on confirming my order it looks like delivery will be a little slow from them. Sorry Broz and Dan!

I believe these are the Hawkins .885 rings on a 20 moa XLR Industries rail on my Christensen Arms Ridgeline 300 PRC+P with the Nightforce NX8 4-32. I looked though my email and only see .885s 30mm rings and the 1.250 34 mm Hawkins rings I’ve ordered recently. I like max .25-inch separation.

Here's how I would recommend verifying exactly what height you need. You can save a lot of trouble up front by checking this before buying the rings. You may get this mocked up and find you like the scope mounted further back and needing higher rings.... anyway I highly recommend this and it's pretty much free.
Level the rifle up in a gun vise. Stack pennies on the front and rear of rail and place the scope on top. Secure with a couple wraps of electrical tape. Keep tweaking it until you get the stacks/ height and eye relief exactly right for your eye. Then measure the stacks of pennies and add In half the diameter of the scope tube.
For example
15 mm = .590" (half of a 30 mm tube)
Penney stack measures .295
.590+ .295 = .885" rings.

Securing it with tape allows you to get behind it however you need to to get a feel for it.

This CA ELR ended up with night force ultralights 1.125 / High

Thanks for all the responses! I can see how the penny stacking would work well. I ended getting the .885 Hawkins with the offset bubble, it is going to work well.
