Well I may trade my 2017 Bowtech Reign 7 in for a new Realm X. Plus I want to upgrade my Option archery 6 sight for their new Option S sight. I want one that I can dial to 110 Yards for LR practice and target.

Spring is just around the corner, and that means some 3D shoots.

Whats your 2018 gear plans?

A Hoyt RX-1 in Subalpine has joined the stable for me. I moved my IQ Pro Hunter sight (2 fixed + 1 slider) over and got a Hoyt-branded QAD rest for it. For arrows, I've been shooting Victory NVX23 for target practice with my daughter and I have Easton 4mm FMJ Injexions for hunting.

If I can't get the distance I want for practice, I'll switch to a Pure Gold 75 with 3 or 4 fixed pins. Moving the whole housing would give me more range.

Much more of an archery shooter myself, learning on the rifle side. Currently shooting a Prime Centergy Hybrid and have a custom order in for a Hoyt RX1 Ultra.

Sights - I use the Spot Hogg Hogg Father. Backup bow will get a single pin. Hunting bow I'll have both a single pin and a custom 5 pin set up on separate dovetails.

Trying to shoot a lot more with a tension release this year to hopefully up my gear this year...

My Halon 6 I bought for my 40th couple years ago, replaced a 17 year old Golden Eagle, so probably be shooting this one for at least a decade!
