Great review! I also have a 6.5PRC built by Travis. My specs;

Lone Peak Fuzion
Benchmark 22" Carbon
Hawkins bottom metal
TriggerTech Special
KS1 stock

The rifle has been extremely accurate. Travis has also built himself quite a facility in Miller SD. It is rather impressive.

That is a nice rig! I agree; its impressive what he’s done in a short time. Travis is also a young guy so I expect he will continue to grow his business based on what I’ve seen so far.

Another great shooting rifle, I enjoy your reviews Brother!

I did not know the latest generation Hawkins magazine had a rubber bumper.

I will check them out!

I didn't mention that I had Travis do two barrels for me. The 22" Benchmark carbon and a 26" Benchmark steel "practice" barrel. A couple of days ago I put my suppressor/recoil X brake onto the 26" barrel and shot a 10 shot group to zero the scope. He builds nice rifles.

That’s a great group! Is your action a medium? What are your load components?

Travis does excellent work.

Standard short action. This is my range load 140 VLD, 53.3 grains H4831SC, Lapua brass, CCI LRP about 3 thou of crush, 45 thou OTLs. Runs around 2,950 in the 26" barrel.
