I imagine most of you heard about the Bill being signed into law banning semi automatic rifles in Illinois. The Governor had stiff oposition to his Bill. Infact, opposition so stiff that 90 percent of Illinois County Sheriffs stated that they will not enforce these new laws nor house any citizens in their jails after being arrested by an outside Agent for these offenses.
There is some HOPE. A lawsuit was filed for temporary injunction, around 800 plaintiffs strong. Low and behold the presiding Judge upheld and ordered the injunction.
The Govenor is planning an appeal in higher Court.
