Daniel, what action(s) have you tested these with? I would like to possibly move from the CA chassis to a regular stock sometime in the future. Was wondering if the CA SA’s would work?

should work fine! I actually had a different DBM on this rifle it took AI mags and wouldnt feed bolted this in no bedding and it went also with this being the "universal X1" stock I think they call it a U1 now tho it worked with this terminus flawless!

Head over to the homepage to check out Danial's video review of the Hawkins Hunter DBM. I really liked the options for spacers in the mags to get the correct length for your particular round.

Has anyone tried a belted mag round in the 300 PRC/ 28 Nosler mag? They say it won’t work on the website just curious if anyone has given it a go. Thanks for the review these seem to be the future for hunting mag setups.

I like how the follower has that “bump” or incline that helps lift the round up. Sometimes I have problems with my MPR mags hanging bullets up.

Dan,

I was looking at this set up for a 300 Win Mag and was told the mag would bind on the belted case. I know LRO has done a ton of testing on 300’s. Any chance you would be able to load up some belted magnums and see how they feed?

I've got a WM set up with the Hunter DBM and using the 300 PRC mag. It will work, but it takes effort on the bolt handle. I'm not sure how long the feed lips will last, and I knew that going in. I've got another WM feeding from AICS mags, and it's slick.

Nick from Hawkins stated they were working on a WM magazine for the Hunter DBM.

Does the 6.5PRC/6.5SAUM SA mag work with a 40° shouldered 6.5 or 7SS? That has been my only reason for not going to this mag in my hunting rifle.

I asked the same question about the terminus magazines. One of the people responded with a video showing the Hawkins magazine ejecting three 7SS rounds. Said he has a couple rifles and no issues.

When I had my 7 SS built with the Hawkins Hunter DBM, I tried the Accurate WSM mags as well as the Hawkins. The Hawkins is a great mag and well made, however, not being able to adjust the lips made me go with the Accurate mags. It cycled, however, it was not at all smooth. The Accurate was pretty smooth and with a little lip adjustment, it feeds ultra smooth. I really wanted the Hawkins to work, but it just wouldn't with this case.
