Shot this 2.75 group at 771 yards saturday evening, there was no mirage at that time. Vertical is very impressive my wind call was off by about a minute. The rifle has a Proof CF barrel 1 in 9 twist. Load is 91.5 grains of VV N570 with a Hornady 230 A Tip , average MV of 3036 and ES is single digits. I have a NF ATACR 5-25 with moar in SFP on top.. Bullet is .110 off the lands.

I really like the looks of the GW stocks. The magnus stock is expensive, but it sure looks the part. Any thoughts on the stock's performance?

The stock in my opinion really helps reduce the felt recoil and with the adjustable recoil pad it allows for better fit to your body especially if shooting at an upward angle.

That is one stock I need to get behind one of these days. I have yet to even hold one. Maybe there will be one at the next Western Hunting Conservation Expo. Such respect for the Gunwerks engineers. I cannot believe I have not had one yet.

I have been to the store in Cody as well. Such a great town and company. I wish I had appreciated it more at the time and I probably would own one right now.

My former neighbor was a guide who had been gifted a Gunwerks setup. I played with a little bit. I wasn't overly impressed with anything other than the stock. Not to say I disliked it, just that I preferred individual components from other manufacturers for everything other than the stock. One day.

You won’t regret it. By far my favorite stock
