My first NF scope some 10 years ago was the 3.5~15x50 NXS. I still like that scope after all these years and have it mounted on a light weight 6.5 creed.
I have been hunting with the ATACR 4~16x42F1 for the past couple seasons on a light weight 7SAUM. I wasnt real excited about the F1 for up close shots but have gotten along just fine.
The ATACR version is a improvement in glass and overall function over the NXS line. Additionally I like the capped windage and the elevation indicators are easier to read.
Nice review Jeff. I really like the NF 4~16 ATACR's as well. I cant wait for my TreMor3 version to come in for my 6 creed gas gun and will probably be buying or trading for a F2 version for my hunting rifle.
