Hey Jeff and Eva. This looks to be a very entertaining as well as educational video series for shooters of all ages and skill levels. I'm looking forward to learning something new, again!

One thing that I noticed was the shooting mat Eva was shooting from in the video. Can you please give any info on it?

Thanks Jeff and Eva.
Doc

Nice episode.

She seams to be terrific, interested and a good learner. MOA, wind direction and speed, shot angle, distance to target and ballistics...hitting steel at distance with Professor Broz has to be better than geometry class.

I would like to know more about the rangefinder used. Seems like a great thing to know how to use. Not the greatest with new technology, but figure I can learn.
Really enjoyed the video.

Broz, love this series. Have watched the rifle set up video probably a half dozen times just to look at how you have set up everything as well as products used.

Couple questions.

Did you do any barrel break in before you and Eva sighted in at 100yds?

Also, are you using factory ammo?

We cleaned as we went at first and the barrel broke in really quickly. We started with the Allterra Arms factory ammo for this rifle and it shot well right from the start. Then we worked up a hand load with H-1000 and 156 Bergers in ADG brass. So we have zeroed, rechecked zero and re-zeroed a few times now.

Thank you for a great place to learn. I also, will be following this series. What is the velocity with the above loads. Are they coated with HBN? Thanks. Tom

Nakid, no HBN and velocity is 2900. It would push them faster, but this is a very nice Node and low recoil. It will do all we need it to do well beyond our expected shot distance.

Doesn't get any more awesome than that, great job you two and am looking forward to the next episode!I'm a beginner at long range shooting and on the same learning curve as Eva so I also learned the importance of having a solid rear bag foundation. (y)

Thanks guys!

That was a great teaching moment. I remember you saying that the rear support is really important. I think that was on the prone shooting tutorial video you did. And I try to remind myself of that when I get behind the rifle with a rear squeeze bag.

Was it pretty smokey when you recorded this video?

I like watching the videos with this young lady learning the art of long range shooting. I think it is great for the sport. Need more women hunting and shooting.

Great video. Been handloading for years and never saw the trick with the dry lube in the case mouth prior to charging. Can you tell me what type of dry lube that is, and where I can get it? I am going to add that step to my regimen.
Merry Christmas from Georgia, where it is snowing!

Eva, awesome buck and great shooting! Broz that smile at the end says it all, no better reward than to watch it all come together after quality time with a young hunter! Congratulations to both of you!
