Cutting Edge 240 grain LT .308 bullets show them requiring a 1:6 twist. Does any one have any experience with these and this twist rate requirement?

Perhaps this will be of use to you. Note: manually enter the parameters for the CE projectile instead of selecting one of Berger's from the drop-down list.

I shot them in two different PROOF 8 twist barrels. One would shoot them but one would not. The one that would not was tight in the middle. I think you may squeak by with a 7 twist if you were above 4000' ASL

I shot them from a 300 Terminator and a 300 Long Lapua improved. Depending on the distance, the 220 or 230 might be worth a look. The added velocity from the lighter bullets will stay with ya for quite a ways. Good Luck
