Well I smashed my Teslong today. So I need to replace it. I have had it for years so I wanted to see if there is a new dog in town for 2026.

So whats they best option for a Bore Scope that works with a smart phone?

GO!!!

I got a Teslong with the screen attached. I like it but have no experience with other rifle borescopes.

I didn’t want to have to deal with connecting it to my phone.

Not sure about best as I have tried no others. I've got the Teslong that connects to IPhone and/or others. Had it a couple years and it still works great. I think it was about $ 80.00.

I have gone through 2 Teslong borescopes that connect to a computer, ipad, phone. Both gave up the ghost. Finally broke down and bought one with their package with their screen gizmo. I actually really like this combo. It's more expensive but worth it so far. Durability remains to be seen.

I would "Guess" the Teslong and many other that are sold under different names are all made in the same factory in China.

On the ones that come with their own screen, is it fairly easy to take pictures and video and transfer them to a phone or Laptop?

I’m sure there are probably brands made under the same name.

I haven’t taken pics or videos but I want to say there is a SD card on the side (I can check mine tonight) that you would save them to that you then take out and plug into your computer and transfer.

If pics and videos are a major part of your borescoping and you don’t want to go through that process then connecting to your phone may provide a better workflow.

I haven't tried that. I'll check it out and post my findings.

Confirmed. My Teslong with the screen has a memory card by the charging port. So, if I wanted pics or video I’d have to remove it and put it in a card reader connected to my computer (or maybe phone) to pull the images off.
