Flying back from MT today. A week of on elk every day bugling and mewing. We didn’t harvest anything but I seen a few big bulls all cowed up, a few bulls in some dense cover make my hair stand on my neck but too thick to see good yet try a shot, and one calf 5yds away staring at me. Great week chasing elk!

My tags here in Michigan are for whitetail in archery or rifle. Unfortunately I haven't hunted archery in years. Archery takes way more time and dedication than I have right now. I owe it to the animals I'm hunting. Hopefully one of these years in the future I'll be able to dedicate the time to it it deserves!

Archery Deer tags for me this year. They continue to fill the freezer time and again for my family. Archery is the only guaranteed tag here in SD.

Virginia,
Typical 6 deer tags we get here in Virginia. 3 either sex and 3 antlerless. This year I'll be driving to Oregon during the best part of our deer season here in Virginia for my elk hunt. My archery hunting will be shortened this year. I'm shooting pretty solid with my new Hoyt AX3 33 65-75lb limbs but draws at 78lb. Big target 60yds, red block 50yds. That was a good day as I can't quite do this every shot but pretty close.
