Applied Ballistics Releases the First Rim Fire Custom Drag Models

Applied Ballistics LLC, First two rimfire ammo types have been added to the AB library of custom drag models. Measured using Doppler Radar, these custom drag models are the best representation of these bullets performance at low transonic and subsonic speeds.
Testing was done from a Vudoo V-22 rifle with a 1 in 16 twist. Ammo tested was Lapua Center X and Midas +

This will greatly help us who are trying to stretch out the rim fires. I am loading the Center X in my Kilo 2400 and will be shooting it soon.

Thanks to Bryan Litz , Mitch Fitzpatrick and the folks in the AB Lab.

Thank you, So your are returning for good? We just yesterday started working on more events and have a few premier sponsors already to work with us. There will be more events announced soon!! All I can say for now.

Just let us know what we can do to help you with ELR 22 LR in Australia, Our match is being copied in Slovenia Europe and other places. We will be touching up the rules and COF, but no major changes and we would be glad to share them with you is you so desire.

There are going to be many sad people to see you guys go. It was great meeting you and I hope we all can shoot together again one day. Also I have heard from a few local ladies how much they really liked your wonderful wife Deborah. The ladies said they would love to get together again and that Deborah was a lot of fun.

Take care and don't be a stranger.

Jeff, being here for 3 years has been a blast, and we met so many great people. Deb and I loved it and just sorry the 22 ELR and you guys come so late in our stay.

We were from the east coast, Hunter Valley region and now will be based in Perth on the West Coast for a few years, so all new exploration for us again. It does mean I have to go through the Australian pain of getting a gun license back because I was gone 2 years they removed it....

Deb also enjoyed their company, everyone was so easy to get along with, don't think we have time to make anything happen before 9th of October as we have a lot to do...

So other than my Anschutz I am taking home a Chassis ready for my Vudoo (Debs Vudoo)

So if you are visiting look us up and agree don't be a stranger too

Hey Broz, we are here in Perth and enjoying the extended summer and move into our house just before Xmas (Out of bloody tempory accommodation)
Have been working with a mate for the last three months to get import permits to get my rifles out of the US back here to Aus (This is no small task)

Wondering if you have anyone on this forum who happens to be in Perth, Australia and shoots long range rimfire (Or just long range)

All things being well I reckon in another 3 or 4 months I will be back up and going again. (You Americans have no Idea it is for law-abiding citizens to have firearms here in Aus)

You guys in Perth should really try and make it up to York. Check out Mark's Workshop. The owner is Mark Else and he and his wife Sam are ELR nutz. Check out their youtube channel 4AW. Really interesting folks and would be a fun couple to have a few beers with. I would think they would be a definite intrest maybe sponser for some 22ELR.
    Good luck.

Hi Chippewa, thanks for that, I have watched many of his Videos, my son put me onto them. I also bought one of his adjustable bases and love it. I did not realize he was here in WA and that is only about 1.5 hours drive so will definitely do that and beers would be a bonus.

    Thanks for the heads up.
